Through our street outreach program we find chronic street youth , also known as "squatters", and help pay for emergency overnight shelter. We distribute backpacks with food, snacks, toiletries , first-aid kits, flashlights and socks. We give blankets, jackets and food vouchers. We distribute telephone calling cards, bus passes and emergency food. A generous grant from Nevada Power funds our "Operation Go Home" program where we buy teens a ticket back to their home city, no questions asked.
