Kathleen Boutin
Founder & COO
Kathleen founded the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth under the auspices' of the Health District in 2000
with the help and Blessing of a strong community coalition. She understands the needs of the populations she advocates for,
and often mentors young women who share similar life experiences. She has a bachelor of science degree in business management,
and is certified in non-profit management & public speaking.
Kathleen is a proud mother of a 16 year old son and 12 year old daughter. They enjoy road trips to southern Utah and the central coast of California in their free time.

Tim Mullin, Executive Director

Tim joined the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth in November 2008 as
Development Specialist. Tim has a background in journalism, having worked
for the Greenspun Media Group and for the Times Record, a daily newspaper in
Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Tim graduated from Green Valley High School
with High Honors in May 2002 before attending the University of Nevada,
Reno, where he discovered his passion for writing. In an effort to get more
involved in the community he joined the student newspaper, where he
eventually spent three years before graduating with a Bachelor's Degrees in
Print Journalism and Political Science in December 2006.
In his free time Tim enjoys reading about and volunteering in politics,
playing tennis, watching movies and traveling.

Jeremy Hynds, Director of Programs

Jeremy has been with the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth since 2007. He started with the organization as a Case Manager, and has been promoted to
Senior Case Manager, Executive Assistant, and currently is the Director of Programs. Jeremy was born and raised in Las Vegas and earned his Bachelor's
degree in Criminal Justice in 2006 at UNLV. Now he is working toward a Master's degree in Crisis and Emergency Management. When he is not working
or studying, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife and friends, camping, hiking, golf, tennis, and movies.

Larry Lovelett, Homeless Youth Transition Specialist

Larry started working with homeless adolescents in 2001 as a volunteer at the
Sanctuary drop-in center. He has extensive experience in street
outreach, youth mentoring and volunteer management. He held positions of
President and Vice President of the Street Teens organization.
Larry has been a resident in Nevada for over nine years and is very active in the
business community where he has volunteered for different business
associations. Larry is the past President of the Summerlin chapter of Le Tip.
Larry has has two grown children, Greg 25 and Crystal 23. They all enjoy
deep sea fishing, gardening and reading.

Lorraine Ortiz, Management Analyst

Before joining Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, Lorraine was
practicing her management skills in a corporate setting and has been
Corporate Secretary for a Non-Profit Organization.
Lorraine obtained a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of
Science in Mathematics from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, the
Philippines. Also, Lorraine holds a Certificate in Non-Profit Management
from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Lorraine recently moved to Henderson
with her family and enjoys reading books, watching movies, cooking and
traveling.

Jennifer Anderson, Case Manager

Jennifer moved to Las Vegas in 2003 from southern California to pursue her
education at UNLV. After graduating with a B.A. in Criminal Justice in 2006,
she enrolled in the graduate program and earned her Master’s degree in May
2009. Her thesis emphasis included topics of risk factors, protective
factors, at-risk youth, mentoring programs, and social bond theory. During
her graduate studies, Jenni worked with youth through such programs as
America Reads/Counts, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada, and The
Girls Initiative with the goal of assisting youth better their future
opportunities. She is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of
at-risk youth in Nevada.
In her spare time, Jenni enjoys crafts, sports, reading, movies, and
spending time with her family and friends. She is a member of the American
Society of Criminology and an active alumnus of UNLV’s national criminal
justice honor society, Alpha Phi Sigma.

Jessica Kilcullen, Case Manager

Jessica moved to Las Vegas in 2005 after graduating from The State
University of New York at Buffalo with a B.A. in Social Science
Interdisciplinary and a B.F.A in Dance. After pursuing a career in Dance
for a few years, she decided to make a career change. She began working in
the fundraising field and helped raise money for several non-profit
organizations across the country. Through that experience she got the urge
to work directly for a non-profit and be more hands on with an
organization. Jessica became a case manager for at-risk youth living in
treatment level foster homes. She is now excited to be a part of the Nevada
Partnership for Homeless Youth as a case manager.
In her down time Jessica enjoys spending time with her fiance and dog. They
enjoy hiking, traveling, and eating!

Alyssa Ventura, Drop-in Center Case Manager

Alyssa joined the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth in 2010. She graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a year later, received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Advanced Standing Program with a Direct Practice concentration. Her undergraduate and graduate practicum experiences include case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, and group/individual therapy with people who have co-occurring disorders (mental illness and substance abuse diagnoses).
Alyssa is also actively involved in community service, working with a variety of agencies through her community service based sorority, Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. She is an avid volunteer for Camp Anytown Las Vegas, a diversity awareness camp for teens, as an advisor. Her future plans include following in her parents footsteps and joining the U.S Air Force and obtaining her license in clinical social work so that she can work with the active duty military and their families.

Leyla Kirkpatrick, Drop-In Center Administrative Assistant

Leyla is a recent transplant to Las Vegas, after getting a degree in
geology from New Mexico State University. While working at NPHY, she draws
on her background working with Girl Scouts, and other children's groups.
When she's not at work, Leyla enjoys hiking and exploring the desert, making
jewelry and knitting.

Angela Harlan, Administrative Assistant

Angela Harlan was born in Scottsdale, Arizona, and moved to Las Vegas when
she was four years old. Educated in the Clark County School District,
Angela graduated from Durango High School in 2003, and from the University
of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2008 with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science
and a minor in Sociology. Prior to coming to the Nevada Partnership for
Homeless Youth, Angela worked as a Spa Assistant Manager at the New York New
York and was an intern in Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's Las Vegas
office. Angela is an animal lover, and has a beagle named Lady, a cat named
Oreo, and a tabby cat named Milo. In her free time, Angela likes to go to
the dog park, practice Bikram Yoga, and volunteer with Big Brothers and Big
Sisters.

Vincent Pollard, Outreach Coordinator

With over a decade of experience working with youth, Vincent Pollard has
dedicated himself to aiding young people of all ages and backgrounds. During
his career, Vincent has been a Daycare Teacher, Recreation Specialist, Teen
Director and a Foster Care Worker. Since the age of sixteen, Vincent has
coached, mentored and educated literally thousands of youth across Southern
Nevada. Vincent is excited to have the opportunity to reach out to at-risk
youth because he was once in their shoes. Having been homeless multiple
times during his childhood, Vincent received a helping hand many times
before and now, desires to be a helping hand for at-risk and homeless youth
across Nevada.
